Treehouse
TREE is a program developed in partnership with the American Academy of Pediatrics working to help pediatric care providers promote positive parent-infant interactions in low income families. TREE works to both directly train physicians and to provide materials for those physicians to use with their own patients. I worked with this organization to create a set of custom illustrations, redesign several key presentations, and put together a logo and design guidelines that they can use across their range of materials.
Presentation Design // Branding // Illustration
Poster and Logo
I was initially approached to put together a poster to put up in pediatrician’s offices that highlighted the key messages of TREE. I worked to create design that was colorful and kid-friendly. I was later asked to create a logo for the organization based on the poster.
Illustrations
To support their educational materials, I created a series of illustrations depicting the key developmental stages and behaviors in infants and toddlers that are highlighted in the presentations. The organization had previously used photographs but sought illustrations to gain full image rights and present a more cohesive, polished visual style in their presentation materials.
I chose a realistic illustration approach to accurately convey specific motor and cognitive milestones at various ages. This level of detail helps ensure that parents and caregivers can easily recognize these stages in their own children.
Presentation Design
This is one of TREE’s primary presentations. It is given by pediatricians to patients to help promote loving connections between parents and their babies. I worked with the content of the original presentation and implemented a style guide to give it a more professional look and make the content clearer and easier to read.

Print Presentation Design
This is a print version of the presentation. I worked to tame all of the content into a consistent style and format that makes it more approachable and easier to quickly recognize different sections and prompts.
